The Rocky Mountain Community Foundation anticipates that our donors’ greatest interest will be in  Donor Advised Funds . Our commitment is to honor our donors' generosity and intent for their funds provided that such requests are consistent with our mission and the law governing Community Foundations and donor advised funds. Some donors will find our Designated Funds or Field of Interest Funds most appealing to their situations. All of these funds are considered "restricted" funds. Since we are a new Foundation and do not yet have an endowment, grant opportunities are currently available only through these funds.

The goal of RMCF Board of Directors is to grow an endowed Unrestricted Fund in the next few years. As we grow and that fund materializes, we look forward to fully supporting the needs of our region.

While most donors have a general idea for the use of their gift, they often seek the advice of RMCF about worthy charitable organizations to support. RMCF invites qualifying charities to get to know our staff and to familiarize our staff with the nature and needs of their cause, so that we may offer our donors the most current and complete advice.
